What we’re working on. We use Claude as a development tool and plan to explore optional AI-assisted spending reflection for Sseumsae. We do not currently use the Claude API. These AI features are planned and are not available in the released app.

A few useful
things to know.

Is Sseumsae free?

Yes. Sseumsae is free to download for iPhone. You’ll need iOS 16.4 or later.

Do I need to create an account?

No signup is needed. Your records are stored on your device. The app doesn’t provide its own cloud sync, so save the records you need before deleting it. CSV exports contain expense records, not a full backup of settings and check-ins.

Does it connect to my bank?

You enter expenses yourself. Sseumsae doesn’t connect to bank accounts or cards, automatically capture payment notifications, or scan receipts.

Can I use it in different currencies?

Each ledger can use KRW, USD, JPY, or EUR. Sseumsae keeps totals separate and doesn’t convert between currencies.
